iBasso presents the AMP8 MK2, the solution for both high voltage and high current output with lower impedance
- +/-8V high voltage swing significantly improves dynamics and headroom for a more accurate sound
- Dedicated DX240 solution featuring both high voltage and current output
- Uses low VCE transistors sorted and paired for better consistency and linearity
- 2000mA output rated transistors (same as AMP11 MK2) for easier headphone and IEM driving
- ERO film capacitors to maintain high quality sound
- Pentaconn 4.4mm balanced output
AMP8’s Discrete Components for Maximum Performance
When using OPAMPs in an amplifier, it’s almost impossible to achieve high voltage output along with high current output, especially on portable devices. Using a TPA6120 at the buffer stage to achieve a 750mA output current has been the solution by some engineers. But with their 10Ω output impedance, this solution isn’t ideal for lower impedance headphones or IEMs.
In response, iBasso presents the AMP8 MK2 with both high voltage and high current output while maintaining low output impedance with excellent measurements. It really complements the premium performance of the DX240 giving you even more choices when playing the music you enjoy!
