Kinera x Effect Audio Collaboration

Kinera and highly reputable Hi-Fi acoustic cable company Effect Audio team up for Kinera’s first high-end IEM upgrade cable. The exterior appearance has been custom designed by the Kinera-led artistic team, with tuning concepts and testing expertly handled by Effect Audio’s pro acoustic engineers. Together, the “Crystal of Truth” Orlog represents a high-end IEM upgrade cable with luxurious design and texture.

Kinera intends to converge endurance, flexibility, scalability, musicality, and art into their first go at a flagship style cable, influenced and harnessed from the Norse god of all existence himself, “Orlog.”

Design Process

Ingenious design and craftsmanship alongside a meticulous selection of materials and time-consuming crafting process make the Orlog look and feel very unique.

CNC technology has been used to present glacier-sculpted Scandinavian mountain silhouettes. The natural spinel inlaid in the center is made of bare stone, ground and polished, cut into a pear shape, and is sandblasted and hand polished on each edge.

Orlog Sound

The Orlog bears an overall balanced tonality due to the high purity gold and silver material mixed in the wire cores. The mid range vocals are creamy and rich-textured. Bass response is very elastic and punchy with rich overtones The highs are luxurious yet delicate and are a perfect match for charming, classy music.

Termination

The Orlog comes with Effect Audio’s ConX™ Interchangeable Connection system featuring 0.78 2-pin & MMCX modular connectors. The 4.4mm Balanced termination is a threaded-connection structure plug and is replaceable.

Shell and Y-Split

Orlog uses aerospace grade aluminum-alloy for the connector shell and y-split which makes it very light. It features the shape of the mountain enhancing its visual experience, looking more coherent. The metal brushing craftsmanship yields a nice texture to the surface, and the inner layer is decorated with a spinel.
